Home Decor Feature : Ten purple cushions

One of my favourite colours, Purple. The colour range is varied and sometimes what i might say is Pink or deep pink, is still Purple to others.

Wikipedia says about the colour purple :

• Purple is a range of hues of color occurring between red and blue.  The Oxford English Dictionary describes it as a deep, rich shade between crimson and violet. Purple is halfway between magenta and violet on the RGB (HSV) color wheel.
• Purple was the colour worn by Roman Emperors and magistrates, and later by Roman Catholic bishops. Since that time, purple has been commonly associated with royalty and piety.

Thought i would go and find some of the coordinating colours for purple. How purple is used in home decor, purple kitchen, purple bedroom, purple office. I usually go looking at Pinterest for inspiration, especially for decorating ideas and colours that are trending at the moment. Other top favourite colour places i go online is ColourLovers.
